The Library of Stuff Cooperative – Mullumbimby
If you want to radically reduce your consumer and waste footprint you have come to the right place!!!

The Library of Stuff Co operative in Mullumbimby provides an opportunity to its members to borrow items they infrequently need rather than buying and storing (hoarding!) these things.

All you need to take advantage of this amazing opportunity is be able to get to Mullumbimby once a fortnight to help out and collect and return items; contribute $1 per week and give 5 hours of your time each month.  Membership gives you full access to borrow over 1000 items!  The loan default is for 14 days and most items are free to borrow.  Checkout the inventory on the website – https://libraryofstuff.org.au/ You’ll find board games, camping gear, party stuff, cordless DIY and gardening tools and much much more!

The Library of Stuff operating hours are every second Thursday 3-5pm and every second Saturday 9-11am.  Most members attend fortnightly while a few come for longer once a month on Saturdays.  There are also tasks that can be done from home to contribute to the 5 hours a month cost.

To enquire about available ‘work from home’ roles if you don’t think you can do 5 hours a month on site or;
To join – let the team know you’d like to join and you understand and agree to the co operative terms – $1 a week plus 5 hours a month.  Currently memberships are 6 months = $26 fee on joining.
